1. Make sure the walkie is charged and the battery is properly installed
  2. Check battery contacts for corrosion and proper contact with the charger
  3. Pull battery from a working walkie to verify if it is the walkie or a bad battery.
    • If the walkie works, you know the battery is bad, replace the battery.
