Auto Attendant set up for the IPO 500 phone system is done in two separate recordings.
The first recording is the main greeting.
Example recording: “Thank you for calling Athleta on Fillmore Street".
Perform the following to record the main greeting:

Perform the following to record the main greeting:
- Press Intercom 7851, 7841, 7831, or 7811 (Only one may work for your store) then follow the prompts
- 1 to listen to the greeting
- 2 to record the greeting
- 3 to save the greeting
The second recording is the options menu. This is where the remainder of store information is recorded (i.e. hours and directions, special sales or events) and where the press 8 option is provided in the message. This second recording should be the only portion that might change on an ongoing basis.
Example recording: “Store hours are 9 am -9 pm Monday through Sunday. Please press 8 to reach store personnel. Thank you."
Perform the following to record the options menu:
- Press Intercom 7841 then follow the prompts:
- 1 to listen to the greeting
- 2 to record the greeting
